Eq L/S Analyst: Industrials

Leading Hedge Fund with a strong Industrials franchise is hiring an analyst to build out coverage across homebuilders, building products and Engineering & Construction. This is a research-first seat on a book with real capital behind it and a PM who wants a deep sub-sector specialist, not a generalist covering the space part-time.

The Opportunity:

• Own coverage across homebuilders, building products and E&C from day one w/ thesis development, idea generation and ongoing name maintenance.
• Work directly with a PM building out this vertical, with scope to shape how the coverage universe is structured.
• Strategically strong seat with real trajectory; the PM is a strong advocate for internal promotion and will actively back career advancement.

Requirements:

• Directly relevant Industrials/homebuilders/building products/E&C coverage experience.
• Autos coverage as a plus.
• Single-manager background preferred; strong multi-manager candidates will also be considered.
• Strong, verifiable stock-picking track record.
• Comfortable working closely with a PM in a lean, high-accountability setup.
