- Acts as a data steward, technical advisor, and operational partner
- Ensures asset data is reliable, actionable, and aligned with the organization’s maintenance and asset management goals
- Manages, analyzes, and interprets Asset and Location data within the IBM Maximo Asset Management system
- Supports asset management and maintenance operations through data integrity and data-driven insights
- Works closely with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load, import, validate, and maintain asset and location records in Maximo
- Gather, prepare, and consolidate data from multiple sources for system upload
- Map source data to appropriate Maximo fields
- Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Review engineering drawings and related asset documentation
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot data discrepancies
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from the Maximo system to support business objectives
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for asset performance, maintenance activities, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, automate workflows, and streamline reporting
- Work closely with site teams and Maximo users to collect required information and resolve data-related issues
- Support both initial data loads and ongoing data updates
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving Maximo-related data issues
- Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance
- Support Maximo system upgrades, configuration changes, and data migration initiatives
- Train users on automated data entry, reporting tools, and best practices for maintaining data quality
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Solid understanding of asset management, maintenance processes, and reliability principles
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Capable of explaining technical issues and resolutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
- Or 8+ years of equivalent professional experience
