  • This is a fully onsite position at Fleet Farm's Corporate Office in Appleton, Wisconsin. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

  • Turn Customer Data Into Better Email & SMS Experiences
  • Fleet Farm is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Email & SMS Analyst to join our Marketing team. In this role, you'll help manage the execution, quality, performance, and optimization of Fleet Farm's email and SMS communications.
  • You'll work closely with Marketing, CRM, Credit & Loyalty, Merchandising, Finance, and other business partners to make sure the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • This is not primarily a creative marketing role. While you'll assist with SMS copywriting and collaborate with content and creative partners, your primary focus will be campaign execution, quality assurance, analytics, segmentation, testing, scheduling, reporting, and optimization.
  • You'll become the person the team trusts to keep campaigns moving, catch issues before communications reach customers, understand the data, and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and business results.
  • What You'll Do
  • Own the Email & SMS Channels
  • Serve as the primary owner and final quality checkpoint for Fleet Farm email and SMS communications.
  • Link, schedule, test, QA, and coordinate email and text campaigns before releasing them to customers.
  • Follow established processes and approval requirements to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and brand-appropriate.
  • Identify and resolve errors, broken links, targeting issues, scheduling problems, or other concerns before campaigns are sent.
  • Ensure campaigns are executed according to the marketing calendar and established timelines.
  • Work with the Email Service Provider and internal partners to troubleshoot campaign issues and ensure successful execution.
  • Support Marketing Planning
  • Participate in marketing planning meetings and help coordinate the email and SMS marketing calendar.
  • Work with marketing partners to understand upcoming promotions, campaigns, and customer communications.
  • Help ensure email and SMS messaging is aligned with broader marketing priorities.
  • Coordinate campaign details, deadlines, approvals, links, targeting, and scheduling across multiple stakeholders.
  • Analyze Campaign Performance
  • Monitor email and SMS performance and provide reporting and insights to the Marketing team.
  • Analyze metrics such as engagement, click-through rates, conversions, revenue, unsubscribes, and other channel performance measures.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Listrak, and other reporting tools to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards in partnership with Listrak.
  • Translate campaign results into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Help the team understand what is working, what is not, and what we should test or change next.
  • Support Segmentation & Testing
  • Support customer segmentation and targeting strategies to help deliver relevant communications to the right audiences.
  • Coordinate ongoing A/B testing of messaging, timing, audiences, and other campaign variables.
  • Review test results, analyze the data, draw conclusions, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with CRM and marketing team members to support personalization and customer targeting initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance & Customer Experience
  • Conduct detailed QA of email and SMS communications before deployment.
  • Review links, personalization, targeting, formatting, tracking, content, timing, and other campaign details.
  • Act as the last line of defense before customer communications are released.
  • Identify potential issues and work with appropriate partners to resolve them.
  • Help protect the Fleet Farm brand by ensuring customer communications meet established standards.
  • Support SMS Content
  • Assist with copywriting for text messages when needed.
  • Review SMS messaging for accuracy, clarity, timing, and brand consistency.
  • Partner with marketing and creative teams to ensure messaging supports campaign objectives.
  • Ensure Compliance
  • Help ensure email and SMS communications follow applicable requirements and internal standards, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA.
  • Follow established procedures, approval processes, and communication standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when working with customer communications and campaign data.
  • Collaborate Across the Team
  • Partner with Marketing, CRM, Credit & Loyalty, Finance, Merchandising, and other business teams.
  • Work closely with the Email Service Provider and internal partners to resolve issues and improve campaign execution.
  • Build strong working relationships across the Marketing organization.
  • Be willing to pitch in and cross-train in other areas of Marketing as business needs evolve.
  • What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, marketing analytics, CRM, marketing automation, or a related field.
  • Experience working with email and/or SMS campaigns and marketing analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets, reporting, and campaign data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly dependable and accountable, with the ability to consistently follow established processes and meet time-sensitive campaign deadlines.
  • Ability to listen, follow direction, and consistently execute accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a professional office environment and collaborating with a team.
  • Ability to work fully onsite Monday through Friday at Fleet Farm's Corporate Office in Appleton, Wisconsin.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship from Fleet Farm.
