About The Role
As a CBRE Data Sr. Analyst, you will perform a variety of analyses to ensure that recommendations and business conclusions are backed by sound data findings and thorough data research.
This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using various business intelligence and reporting applications.
- Perform ad-hoc, strategic review of structured and unstructured data, reflecting global real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets.
- Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights and address reporting needs.
- Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.
- Use programming and evaluation tools, including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights.
- Identify opportunities to maximize data usage. Apply modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
- Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources.
- Exhibit rigor, judgment, and ability to present a highly detailed 'data story' to many levels of the organization.
- Confirm the quality and integrity of new and existing data sources.
- Collaborate with the agile development team to provide recommendations and communications on enhancing existing or new processes and programs.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of one's own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team; work within guidelines and policies.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to understand possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Sr Analyst position is $69,500 annually and the maximum salary for the Data Sr Analyst position is $100,000 annually The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
