# Senior Data Scientist – Pricing Optimization & AI/ML

## About the Role

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a **Senior Data Scientist** to develop advanced algorithms and predictive models that forecast trends, solve complex business problems, and translate data into actionable insights for executive decision-making. This role focuses on **AI/ML, pricing optimization, elasticity modeling, statistical analysis, and large-scale experimentation**.

The Senior Data Scientist will lead machine learning model experimentation, scale sensitivity-to-elasticity analyses across multiple markets, develop pilot measurement strategies, and continuously monitor and optimize models in production. The role works closely with engineers, service owners, product owners, product managers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions with measurable business impact.

## Key Responsibilities

  • * Perform **Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)** to identify patterns, anomalies, relationships, and data-quality issues.
  • * Build predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques, with a focus on **pricing optimization and elasticity modeling**.
  • * Scale sensitivity-to-elasticity analyses to support multiple experiments and markets concurrently.
  • * Design and execute **pilot measurement strategies** to evaluate model performance in live environments.
  • * Measure, monitor, tune, and optimize production models for health, accuracy, and business impact.
  • * Conduct large-scale data experiments to address complex business questions and uncover relationships within extensive datasets.
  • * Create data visualizations to communicate findings and support data storytelling.
  • * Collaborate with engineers, service owners, product owners, product managers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and challenges.
  • * Prepare reports and presentations that communicate insights, findings, and recommendations.
  • * Gather data from multiple sources while maintaining data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
  • * Design and execute comprehensive data analyses using advanced statistical methodologies and modeling techniques.
  • * Apply hypothesis-driven analysis to support machine learning initiatives.
  • * Utilize AI techniques to improve data analysis efficiency.
  • * Perform data sampling and related analytical activities.
  • * Stay current with developments in **data science, AI, and machine learning** and identify opportunities to improve the use of data and analytics.

## Required Qualifications

### Education

  • * Bachelor's degree in **Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field**.
  • * Master's degree is preferred.

### Experience & Technical Skills

  • * Typically **5+ years** of relevant experience in quantitative or qualitative research, analytics, data science, or machine learning.
  • * Demonstrated experience with **pricing optimization models and elasticity analysis**.
  • * Strong understanding of **machine learning algorithms and relational databases**.
  • * Experience with data science modeling, statistics, analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven business strategy.
  • * Proven experience with **model measurement, monitoring, and tuning in production environments**.
  • * Experience managing and delivering complex technical products.
  • * Experience performing statistical analysis and applying data visualization techniques.
  • * Strong data analysis and data modeling capabilities.
  • * Native-level proficiency or fluency in English.

  • * Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)
  • * Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN)
  • * Strong working knowledge of AI/ML techniques and the ability to flex between **Data Science and Applied Machine Learning** responsibilities as business needs evolve.
  • * Experience designing and executing pilot measurement strategies and evaluating experiment results at scale across multiple markets.
  • * Basic knowledge of AI applications for business problems and the future trajectory of **generative AI models**.
  • * Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • * Ability to build effective relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
  • * Basic technical leadership skills, including employee coaching, objective setting, and supporting professional development.
  • * Ability to communicate complex concepts and present data findings to technical and business executives.
  • * Ability to conduct statistical analyses and build models using advanced scripting languages.
  • * Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

## Work Arrangement & Location

  • * **Work Arrangement:** Remote
  • * **Location Requirement:** Candidates must be located within **90 miles of Dallas, TX or Ft. Lauderdale, FL** for occasional onsite meetings.
  • * **Duration:** Contract-to-permanent
  • * **Work Authorization:** U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or candidates authorized to work in the U.S.

## Compensation

* **$80–$85 per hour**
