Role Description The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) is a part-time role responsible for turning educational and operational data into clear, actionable insights. On a day-to-day basis, this role will collect, organize, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. The analyst will support the design and execution of basic market research and customer insight projects, including surveys and feedback analysis. They will create simple dashboards, charts, and reports to communicate trends, performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement to internal stakeholders. The role will collaborate closely with program, academic, and administrative teams to answer data-related questions, document findings, and maintain clear records of methods and results. This is a remote position, requiring regular online communication, proactive time management, and comfort working with digital collaboration tools.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and derive practical recommendations.
Foundational data analytics skills, such as working with spreadsheets, basic statistical concepts, and simple data visualization tools.
Experience or interest in market research and customer insight, including designing or analyzing surveys and understanding user needs.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences and collaborate with diverse teams.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
Comfort using online collaboration platforms (e.g., video conferencing, shared documents, project management tools).
Interest in the education sector and a willingness to learn about data use in educational settings; prior exposure is helpful but not required.
Relevant coursework or a degree in fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Education, Social Sciences, or a related discipline is an advantage.
