About The Role
As a Lead, Database Marketing at Humana, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data analytics and marketing automation to shape and optimize audience segmentation strategies. Your expertise will inform targeted marketing campaigns by developing sophisticated audience profiles and ensuring seamless integration across various platforms, primarily utilizing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). This role involves leading platform configuration, managing complex data initiatives, and collaborating closely with marketing, IT, and other stakeholders to enhance campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate is passionate about data-driven marketing, possesses strong technical skills, and enjoys translating insights into strategic actions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or 8+ years of experience in audience segmentation.
- 5+ years of experience in campaign development, audience segmentation, or marketing analytics.
- Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining advanced audience segments within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Experience with audience strategies using AEP segmentation, profile data modeling, and identity resolution.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot segmentation issues and validate audience accuracy.
- Excellent documentation skills for requirements, tutorials, and instructions.
- Proven ability to lead complex data initiatives and manage multiple priorities independently.
- Passion for enhancing consumer experiences through data-driven marketing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a "one team" mindset.
Responsibilities
- Own the development, management, and ongoing optimization of audience segments using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Design and implement scalable processes and best practices for audience development and marketing automation.
- Lead platform configuration, integration efforts, and ensure seamless connectivity across various systems and data sources.
- Serve as a strategic consultant to marketing partners, providing guidance on database marketing capabilities, segmentation logic, and insights based on historical data.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to oversee campaign data acquisition, extraction, testing, and validation across proprietary and industry-standard platforms.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, usability, and campaign performance.
- Manage the transition of campaigns from legacy platforms such as Unica and Adobe Campaign to Adobe Experience Platform, ensuring data integrity and continuity.
- Validate audience outputs, troubleshoot segmentation issues, and ensure high-quality data for marketing activation.
- Develop automation workflows and strategies supporting personalized customer journeys and targeted marketing efforts.
