## About the Role

TELUS Digital is seeking an Online Data Analyst to support a project focused on improving the content, accuracy, and quality of digital maps used by people around the world.

This freelance, long-term opportunity involves conducting online research and evaluating information through a web-based environment. You will verify and compare data, assess the relevance and accuracy of information, and contribute to improving digital map content.

No previous professional experience is required. Successful applicants will complete a qualification assessment and standard verification process before beginning the project.

### Key Responsibilities

• * Conduct online research using search engines, online maps, and websites.
• * Verify and compare information to determine its accuracy and relevance.
• * Evaluate digital map content and related data.
• * Complete a variety of tasks involving maps, news, audio, and information relevance.
• * Follow detailed project guidelines and quality standards.
• * Maintain accuracy and consistency across assigned tasks.
• * Complete tasks independently within the required timeframe.
• * Participate in standard quality assurance checks throughout the project.

### Basic Qualifications

• * Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• * Residency in the United States for the last two consecutive years.
• * Familiarity with current and historical U.S. business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs.
• * Ability to conduct effective online research.
• * Familiarity with search engines, online maps, and website-based information.
• * Ability to follow detailed guidelines and instructions.
• * Flexibility to work across different task types.
• * Daily access to a reliable broadband internet connection.
• * Access to a computer and the software required to complete project tasks.

### Assessment and Qualification

Applicants who progress through the selection process will be required to complete an open-book qualification exam to determine suitability for the project.

TELUS Digital will provide relevant guidelines and learning materials before the assessment. Candidates must complete the exam within a specified timeframe, while having flexibility over when they complete it.

ID verification is also required as part of the qualification process.

### Work Arrangement

This is a part-time, long-term contractual opportunity that can be completed remotely from home. The freelance nature of the project provides flexibility to work at your own pace while meeting project requirements and quality standards.
