About The Role

The Cyber Security Analyst at ScriptPro LLC plays a vital role in safeguarding the company's digital assets, products, and customer data. This position is responsible for supporting the company's security and compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks, including RMF, FedRAMP, PCI, HITRUST, ISO, and NIST. The role involves managing security projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and maintaining audit readiness. The analyst will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and clients, facilitating clear communication and alignment on security measures and compliance activities.

This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, vulnerability assessment, and continuous monitoring. The Cyber Security Analyst will contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, participate in FedRAMP authorization processes, and support product security initiatives. The position offers an excellent opportunity for security-minded professionals to make a meaningful impact within a highly regulated environment while working remotely or on-site in Kansas City, Missouri, depending on departmental needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity, auditing, penetration testing, or managing Windows Server OS and SQL databases is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows technologies, Office Suite, and Teams is essential. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively across various teams and organizational levels. A motivated, adaptable mindset with critical thinking capabilities is crucial for success in this dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications include industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent, familiarity with ScriptPro products and processes, and experience with government or Department of Defense IT security protocols. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and security frameworks is also advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track security, infrastructure, and product certification projects, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as RMF, FedRAMP, PCI, HITRUST, ISO, and NIST throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive project documentation tailored for Customer Service, DevOps, Information Assurance, and executive leadership teams.
  • Prepare monthly reports on system compliance, security KPIs, audit readiness, and project progress to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and customers, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment on security initiatives.
  • Coordinate project schedules, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and ensure all project phases are thoroughly documented and completed on time.
  • Support security programs aligned with RMF steps, STIG compliance, ACAS/SCAP scanning, and NIST 800-53/171 control implementation.
  • Contribute to FedRAMP authorization efforts, including SSP development, POA&M management, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Assist with multi-framework compliance efforts such as PCI DSS v4.0, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, OWASP Top 10, and IEC 62443 standards.
  • Represent the Information Assurance team in internal and external meetings, resolve conflicts proactively, and guide teams through complex security challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s security posture and compliance objectives.
