Randstad is seeking a Deductions Analyst for our global beverage manufacturing client in Atlanta, GA.
Role Details
Pay Rate: $26.50 to $27.00 / hr.
Contract Length: 18-month contract
Location: Atlanta, GA Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday)
Equipment: Must provide your own laptop
Responsibilities
Resolve Customer Deductions: Manage the end-to-end investigation, communication, and processing of daily customer deduction claims.
Issue Credit/Debit Memos: Analyze supporting documentation to accurately process credits or debits for exception transactions.
Identify Root Causes: Research underlying causal factors driving recurring deductions and partner on process improvements to prevent future write-offs.
Partner with Clients: Meet directly with key customers and internal stakeholders to discuss deduction processes and build strong working relationships.
Analyze Accounts: Reconcile complex customer invoices, track payment discrepancies, and build clear analytical reports.
Qualifications
Must-haves:
Experience: 4–5 years in deductions management, accounts receivable, customer claims, or cash applications.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE).
Core Competencies: Strong root cause analysis, financial reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience conducting direct, face-to-face or virtual customer meetings to resolve complex financial disputes.
Proven track record of designing proactive processes that measurably reduce team write-offs.
