Consumer Staples Analyst

A leading multi-strategy platform in New York is adding to its Consumer franchise with a dedicated Staples seat. The platform runs at significant scale, with the infrastructure, data access and risk framework you'd expect from a top-tier multi-manager, and Consumer is one of its stronger-performing verticals.

The Opportunity:

• Full research ownership across Consumer Staples; idea generation, thesis development, name maintenance and pitched views with direct attribution.
• Flat reporting line with meaningful day-to-day responsibility from the outset.
• Direct exposure to an experienced Consumer PM and the broader sector franchise at the platform.
• Strong trajectory; the PM is a strong advocate for internal promotion and will actively back career advancement.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable buyside Consumer Staples coverage experience (ideally 4-6 years).
• Strong, verifiable track record of idea generation and stock selection within the sector.
• Comfortable operating within a defined risk framework and calibrated to a top-tier platform's bar.
• Intellectual honesty and low ego; a team that values substance over polish.
