We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work.

Job Information
Our Commercial Analytics department is on the front line of helping build core value and making strategic business decisions through data analytics. The role of the Commercial Analyst will be to provide support and partner with the Commercial Sales team and identify business needs and solutions in driving the overall commercial strategy of the company. Team members in this role support the national account team with tier-one contract accounts, monitor and maintain contract compliance, and provide profitability analysis to help optimize contract customer successful implementation. They will develop and implement critical business solutions through information gathering, synthesis, and review. They will secure and allocate resources, manage implementation schedules, and facilitate meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Commercial Sales team to successfully roll out new contract wins
Supporting the pre-bid and proposals process for customer contracts
Develop presentations for business development and account management
Prepare and issue Customer-facing Key Performance Indicator reporting
Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of contract pricing system data
Identify and recommend new opportunities for growing revenue through pricing
Build and maintain strong relationships with members of the Commercial team and the business partners that we support. Identify opportunities for technical process improvement in efficiency and reliability
Perform system administration, routine maintenance, Data loading and operational support (involving scheduled daily/weekly/monthly tasks and ad hoc data queries)
Collaborate with other business functions (Procurement, Finance, and Sales) to drive alignment around business goals and pricing initiatives
Work with auditors to satisfy audit data requests
Develop and maintain analytical tools to increase efficiency and improve business performance (pricing, category margins, customer profitability, etc.)
Analyze products with overstock status and coordinate an action plan between Sales and Procurement Manager to reduce volume
Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
Strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
Conduct ad hoc analyses as required
Qualifications:
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field (data analytics, project management, and/or flow control product)
Generally 3-5 years of experience in related field
Working knowledge of industrial valves and PFF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) products, or prior inside sales experience in a related industry, is preferred.
Must be an Advanced Power user in Excel and PowerPoint
MicroStrategy experience, preferred
Experience in oil and gas industry
Ability to analyze data, communicate with non-financial and non-technical customers and develop recommendations for solving problems while exhibiting realistic understanding of issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be able to extract and manipulate large data sets
High degree of confidentiality and discretion
Skills in project management, critical and analytical thinking
Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
Strong work ethic

Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
