Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

• Role: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Banking
• Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) 4days
• Experience : 10+

Required Skills:

• Banking domain experience (Core Banking / Payments / Deposits)
• Business Requirements Gathering and Analysis
• BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Process Documentation
• Experience working with banking applications and systems
• Understanding of banking products (Accounts, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Cards)
• API integration requirements and interface documentation
• Data analysis and requirement refinement
• UAT planning, test case preparation, and defect management
• Experience working with business users, developers, QA, and technical teams
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to deliver banking solutions.
• Analyze system integrations, APIs, and data flows between applications.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Perform gap analysis between current and future-state processes.
• Collaborate with business teams to improve banking processes and customer experience.
• Support implementation and enhancement of banking applications.
• Provide documentation, reporting, and status updates to project stakeholders.
• Preferred Experience:
• Experience with Core Banking platforms (Temenos T24/Transact, Finacle, FIS, etc.)
• Payments / eTransfer / Interac experience
• Banking transformation or system migration projects
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking environments.
