We are seeking a Business Solutions Analyst Contractor to support an cross-functional team in solving customer problems and delivering measurable business outcomes. This role will contribute to product discovery, experimentation, delivery, and continuous learning.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with global teams across India, the United States, and Europe. They can collaborate effectively with customers, users, engineering, experience design, delivery, and business stakeholders across various organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, users, engineering, experience design, delivery, and business stakeholders throughout product discovery and delivery.
- Help identify and define customer and business problems.
- Support rapid, cost-effective experimentation to identify simple solutions that address customer needs.
- Gather, measure, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate customer, user, and business outcomes.
- Establish and track metrics to assess product results and business impact.
- Communicate insights, outcomes, progress, and learnings to the product community and relevant stakeholders.
- Support an outcome- and KPI-focused approach rather than an output- or process-focused approach.
- Use evidence and iterative learning to navigate complexity and uncertainty.
- Bring diverse team perspectives together to support decisions informed by feasibility, usability, customer value, and business viability.
- Apply modern product discovery and delivery techniques across relevant phases of the Product Engineering Operating Model, including: Concept, Define, Solution, Build, Scale
- Engage directly with users before, during, and after delivery to validate needs and improve solutions.
- Develop sufficient business-domain knowledge to represent business stakeholder perspectives during team discussions.
- Work across enterprise functions such as engineering, finance, sales, marketing, compliance, security, and experience design.
- Build collaborative relationships with team members, middle management, and executives.
- Contribute to continuous learning, improvement, teamwork, engagement, and psychological safety.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working as a product professional on an empowered, cross-functional team.
- Experience collaborating with global teams across India, the United States, and Europe.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate without relying solely on formal authority.
- Experience gathering and analyzing customer or user research and business data.
- Experience using historical metrics to assess outcomes and communicate business impact.
- Experience communicating findings and recommendations through clear written and verbal narratives.
- Experience engaging stakeholders ranging from delivery teams and middle management to executives.
- Working knowledge of modern product discovery and delivery practices.
- Experience with experimentation and iterative delivery to reduce waste and improve customer and business outcomes.
- Ability to quickly learn a business domain and understand enterprise dependencies.
- Ability to work from the Tampa or Hermitage office Tuesday through Thursday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Product Engineering Operating Model or similar product lifecycle frameworks.
- Familiarity with lean product development, continuous discovery, rapid experimentation, and outcome-based product practices.
- Experience working across engineering, user experience, delivery, finance, sales, marketing, compliance, and security.
- Experience transitioning teams from output-focused practices toward outcome-focused ways of working.
- Experience sharing product outcomes, metrics, and learnings with a broader product community.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $55 -$60 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
