- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic FinTech team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services and will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, streamline processes, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge financial products.
- Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the FinTech, asset management, or financial services industry.
- Knowledge and experience in Mutual Funds, Insurance, Loans, Wealth Management, or other financial products would be preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial services and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar tools to manage workflows and track project progress.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Balsamiq, Figma is a plus.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to understand business needs related to financial services, translating them into functional and technical requirements.
- Financial Systems Expertise: Provide insights and guidance on the structure and functioning of financial services, ensuring solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, performance insights, and areas for improvement across a range of financial products and services.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in processes related to financial products, such as operations, investor reporting, or compliance workflows, and propose improvements.
- Market Research: Stay updated on the latest FinTech trends and developments in financial services, ensuring that the company remains competitive and innovative.
- Documentation: Develop detailed documentation, including use cases, user stories, process flows, and technical specifications, with a focus on financial products and systems.
- Project Management Support: Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Confluence, or other platforms to manage and track project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure products meet business needs through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ongoing feedback.
