A financial services organization in New Jersey is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Jersey City.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (1-2 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis
Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams
Support testing, training, and deployment of new systems and enhancements
Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
10+ years of Business Analysis experience
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping
Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
Proficiency with Excel, Visio, JIRA, or Tableau
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills:
Business Analyst certification, such as CBAP or PMI-PBA
Experience supporting risk technology initiatives
