Business Analyst - Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

• Position: Business Analyst
• Location: Remote
• Location Preference: Candidates residing in West Virginia or Maryland are strongly preferred.
• Employment Type: Need Someone who don't need sponsorship now & in the future.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT application development or system implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in use case development, requirements gathering, user stories, and functional documentation.
• Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA teams.
• Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment during U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) systems, transportation scheduling, dispatch, or mobility platforms.
• Experience with Medicaid, MMIS, eligibility and enrollment, provider management, or healthcare IT systems.
• Prior experience working on state government or public-sector IT projects.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, healthcare interoperability, and system integrations.
• Experience supporting healthcare application modernization or enterprise system implementation.
• Candidates currently residing in West Virginia or Maryland are strongly preferred.
