About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team in a remote capacity, with the requirement that candidates reside within a commutable distance to our Phoenix, AZ office. This role primarily supports unclaimed property reporting activities, including executing due diligence mailings, to ensure adherence to state-specific regulations. The ideal candidate will perform advanced data analysis, gather and interpret business requirements, and develop strategic recommendations to optimize operational processes. This position involves evaluating existing business workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and control. Additionally, the role may include preparing comprehensive reports and mentoring less experienced analysts, contributing to the overall success of our compliance and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in System Support or Analytics, or
• High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of experience in System Support or Analytics
• Strong knowledge of multi-state unclaimed property laws
• Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets and multiple systems
• Knowledge of General Ledger reconciliations and financial reporting processes
• Experience working within a large, regulated financial institution

Responsibilities

• Source, compile, and interpret data to support unclaimed property reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvements
• Provide daily operational support by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and recommending process enhancements
• Assist in creating business specifications, project plans, and documentation to communicate initiatives effectively across teams
• Generate reports based on data insights, industry trends, and process capabilities to inform decision-making
• Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and support the implementation of solutions to increase operational effectiveness and controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve standard practices and ensure regulatory compliance
• Mentor and guide less experienced analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment
