Business Analyst – Guidewire Policy Center

• Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Guidewire PolicyCenter expertise to support Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance projects. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations and enhancements.

• Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from P&C insurance stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Support Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, including Product Model, Rating, Workflows, Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Renewals, and Cancellations.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use cases, and traceability matrices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT activities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support integrations with Billing, Claims, Document Management, Rating Engines, and third-party systems.
• Assist with data migration analysis and validation.
• Required Skills
• 4–5+ years of Business Analyst experience within P&C Insurance.
• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (implementation, configuration, or upgrade projects).
• Strong understanding of the insurance policy lifecycle, including quoting, binding, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Studio, Product Designer, and the PolicyCenter data model.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
• Exposure to BillingCenter and/or ClaimCenter.
• Familiarity with Gosu (reading/reviewing code).
• Experience with Personal Lines or Commercial Lines insurance.
• Knowledge of ISO/ACORD standards.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or Azure DevOps.
