- One of our clients is looking for an Azure Platform Engineer and play a key role in leveraging cloud technologies to support and enhance our enterprise Data & Analytics environment using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.

- Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and architecture for our enterprise Data & Analytics environment using Microsoft Fabric and Synapse, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions and support.
- Implement and enforce best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance using Azure tools and services.
- Configure and manage Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics to support large-scale data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics.
- Administer and optimize Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Database for managing structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate and automate Azure services and APIs to enable seamless data ingestion from multiple sources and formats.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and data solutions using Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging Azure technologies, tools, and cloud industry trends.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to promptly address and resolve technical issues.
- Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.
- Strong experience in cloud engineering and architecture using Azure Data Factory (Data Flows & Pipelines), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks and tools.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Experience with Azure monitoring and troubleshooting tools, including Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities, technologies, and processes.
- Ability to travel to district locations and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience supporting enterprise Data & Analytics environments.
- Experience creating technical documentation, process maps, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOX.
