Hybrid: 3 days onsite in a week

• This is a 2-year federal government opportunity.
• Candidates must already possess Active Reliability Clearance.

Note: Looking for an experienced AS400 / IBM I Infrastructure Analyst to support and maintain critical IBM i (AS/400) infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for system administration, upgrades, performance monitoring, security management, backup and recovery operations, incident resolution, and infrastructure optimization.

Ideal Candidate Rate: CAD 110-120/Hr (Depending upon the experience)

• Mandatory Requirements
• Active Reliability Security Clearance
• Available to work onsite in the Toronto area 3 days per week
• Must reside in the GTA or be willing to relocate
• Must Have:
• Administer and support IBM i (AS/400) environments across production, development, and test systems
• Performed system upgrades, PTF management, OS releases, and configuration changes
• Monitored system performance, capacity utilization, job queues, and system health
• Managed backup, recovery, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and performance issues.

• Desired Experience
• Strong IBM i / AS400 administration experience
• Experience with PowerHA, MIMIX, iCluster, or similar HA/DR solutions
• Knowledge of IBM i security administration and compliance practices
• Experience with backup/recovery planning and testing
