Accounts Receivable / Collections Analyst #26959

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a large organization, is seeking a skilled AR Collections Specialist. This role is responsible for managing business-to-business (B2B) collections, resolving outstanding invoice disputes, and ensuring timely customer payments. The ideal candidate brings extensive collections experience, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience with customer A/P portals and cash application processes.

• Job Duties
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitor aging reports, and follow up on past-due invoices
• Conduct outbound collections calls and negotiate payment arrangements to reduce outstanding balances
• Navigate customer accounts payable portals to submit invoices, track payment statuses, and retrieve supporting documentation
• Apply customer payments, research remittance details, and resolve cash application discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes, debit/credit memos, and account reconciliation issues
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze receivables, track collections activity, and maintain accurate account records
• Identify payment delays and coordinate with internal departments to resolve outstanding account issues
• Maintain accurate collections records, payment commitments, and customer account documentation

• Skills & Experience
• Required
• 5+ years of professional accounts receivable collections experience, including B2B collections
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• Hands-on experience with customer A/P portals for invoice submission, payment tracking, and dispute resolution
• Cash application experience, including payment posting, remittance research, and discrepancy resolution
• Experience with billing dispute resolution, account reconciliations, and delinquent account management
• Experience negotiating payment arrangements and managing customer collections portfolios
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and basic accounting principles

• Collections experience within automotive, manufacturing, or related industries
• Experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of creditworthiness assessments and credit fundamentals
• Experience researching and processing debit memos, credit memos, and customer deductions
• Experience with high-volume B2B collections and aging report analysis
