Lead Business System Analyst

• Lead Business Systems Analyst- Position Overview
• We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technology teams within an investment management environment. This role combines business and systems analysis with hands-on solution delivery, translating business objectives into detailed technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with CRM platforms, and the ability to lead initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption.

• Key Responsibilities
• Gather and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and technical specifications
• Partner with engineering, QA, and business teams throughout solution design and delivery
• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL
• Coordinate testing, defect tracking, UAT, and requirements validation
• Support Agile processes including backlog refinement and sprint planning
• Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
• Own initiatives from requirements through successful delivery

• Required Qualifications
• Strong Business Systems Analyst experience spanning both business and technical analysis
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, and technical documentation
• Understanding of system architecture, data flows, and integrations
• Experience working with software development and QA teams
• Strong Agile/Scrum, testing, and UAT experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with DealCloud, Affinity CRM, or similar CRM platforms
• Experience within private equity, private credit, investment management, venture capital, investment banking, or capital markets
• Experience supporting geographically distributed teams
