1. About Our Client:
The organization operates within the automotive retail industry, addressing challenges in car buying and selling by providing tierless technology solutions. It connects various stakeholders through multiple platforms, including digital marketplaces, trade and appraisal technology, and a digital wholesale auction marketplace, aiming to enhance local automotive retail experiences.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing accounts receivable balances by maintaining communication with customer departments to address payment statuses. This role identifies credit risk issues, resolves collection challenges, and supports financial operations by ensuring accurate account management and timely collections.
3. Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze over 1250 dealer customer accounts receivable through phone and email collections efforts
- Investigate and correct billing discrepancies, including processing cancellations, issuing credits, applying payments, and writing off debt when necessary
- Communicate professionally with customers to resolve payment issues
- Collaborate with sales teams to escalate and resolve collection issues
- Document all account contacts thoroughly
- Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly collection goals
- Prepare credits and billing corrections following company guidelines
- Manage accounts in compliance with credit and collection policies
- Communicate root causes of collection issues related to billing, product performance, or sales
- Provide resolutions to collection issues for management
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts before delinquency occurs
- Maintain professional communication with external customers and internal teams regarding collection issues
4. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- General knowledge of accounts receivable processes
- Ability to learn and use systems like Salesforce and Peoplesoft
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
- Ability to meet monthly accounts receivable goals
- Capability to analyze account trends and resolve collection issues
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $41,500.00 to $49,800.00
