• Our client located in Houston, TX is in need of an Accounts Payable Analyst. This is an onsite, direct hire opportunity.

Accounts Payable Analyst Role:

• Full cycle accounts payable processing with high volume workload
• Independent general ledger coding across all AP transactions
• Processing vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reimbursements
• Execution of check runs including urgent and quick payments
• Vendor management and issue resolution for discrepancies and inquiries
• Procurement card review and compliance validation
• Entry and processing of client disbursements within Aderant
• Alignment of AP activity with legal billing and matter based accounting requirements
• Support for audits, reporting, and finance process improvement initiatives

Accounts Payable Analyst Background Profile:

• 3 plus years of full cycle accounts payable experience in high volume environment
• Legal billing experience required (law firm or legal services environment)
• Strong general ledger coding experience within structured chart of accounts
• Experience with Aderant or similar legal accounting systems
• Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word proficiency
• Ability to manage competing deadlines independently
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders
