VP, Data & Enterprise Architecture

What You'll Do

• The Vice President, Data & Enterprise Architecture will provide strategic leadership across enterprise technology, data, architecture, and modernization initiatives. This individual will establish a long-term technology architecture that supports business growth, operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
• The role will partner closely with senior business and technology leaders to develop future-state architecture across data, cloud platforms, integrations, and enterprise systems. Key priorities will include simplifying the existing technology landscape, addressing technical debt, improving cost efficiency, strengthening data capabilities, and creating an architecture capable of supporting AI and emerging technologies.

What You'll Bring

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience, including senior leadership responsibility across enterprise architecture, data, and technology transformation
• Experience designing and executing enterprise-wide architecture and modernization strategies
• Proven success simplifying complex technology environments and reducing legacy technology and technical debt
• Experience delivering technology transformation within financial services or another highly regulated industry
• Strong background developing modern data architectures and platforms that enable analytics and AI capabilities
• Ability to translate business strategy into practical technology and architecture roadmaps
• Experience working with senior executives and influencing technology investment decisions

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise across enterprise and data architecture, including data governance, analytics, and information management
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, application and data integration, and large-scale technology modernization
• Experience balancing scalability, performance, security, innovation, and technology costs
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations within enterprise technology environments
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture strategies across multiple business and technology functions

Education

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Preferred:
• Master's degree in a relevant technology, data, cloud, or enterprise architecture discipline

Preferred Certifications

• TOGAF or comparable enterprise architecture certification
• CISSP or CISM
• Professional-level AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud architecture certification
