- Role Description The Vice President of Data & Analytics is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and analytics across WHARF11. This role oversees the design and implementation of data platforms, analytics frameworks, and reporting capabilities that inform executive decision-making and drive business performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring analytics teams, prioritizing projects, coordinating cross-functional data initiatives, and ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance. The Vice President partners with senior leaders in finance, operations, product, and other functions to translate business needs into analytical solutions, develop key performance indicators, and deliver clear, actionable insights. This role also evaluates new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve the organization’s analytical maturity and impact.
- Qualifications
- Strong foundation in data-focused disciplines, including Data Analytics and Analytics, with demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide analytics initiatives.
- Advanced Analytical Skills and Statistics capabilities, with the ability to design robust analytical models, interpret complex data, and communicate insights clearly.
- Experience integrating Data Analytics with Finance, using quantitative analysis to inform financial planning, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Proven track record building and managing high-performing data and analytics teams, including hiring, coaching, and talent development.
- Hands-on experience with modern data tools and platforms (e.g., data warehouses, BI tools, visualization software, SQL, and relevant analytics technologies).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive level and align data initiatives to business priorities.
- Background in developing and enforcing data governance, data quality standards, and security practices across an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience in a senior or executive analytics leadership role, ideally within complex or high-growth environments.
