Vice President/Head of AI and Machine Learning
Our client is a clinical-stage, platform-driven biotechnology company leveraging advanced data and machine learning approaches to unlock insights from large-scale biological and immunology datasets. Over several years, the company has accumulated a deep, proprietary data foundation and is now entering a pivotal phase of AI-driven growth.

The Opportunity
The client is building out its AI and machine learning organization and is looking for a senior AI leader to define strategy, lead execution, and scale applied machine learning across the platform. This role sits at the intersection of science, technology, and decision-making and will have broad visibility and impact across the organization.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move quickly from concept to delivery in a fast-moving scientific environment.

Key Responsibilities
Own AI/ML strategy across a platform supporting oncology and immune-related programs
Lead development of machine learning models applied to immune receptor, antigen, and translational datasets
Translate biological and clinical questions into scalable, production-ready AI solutions
Build and mentor a growing AI/ML team
Partner closely with immunology, platform biology, and technology leaders
Deliver high-impact outcomes on aggressive scientific timelines

Ideal Background
Senior experience applying AI/ML in biotech, immunology, oncology, or related scientific domains
Deep experience working with complex, high-dimensional biological data
Track record of moving AI from exploratory research into real decision support
Strong leadership presence with executive-level communication skills
Comfort operating in a rapidly evolving scientific and technical landscape
