Tax Planning Analyst

A leading organization in the renewable energy space is seeking a Tax Planning Analyst to join its highly collaborative team. This is a unique position to work at the intersection of tax, finance, and project development, supporting large-scale renewable energy investments and strategic transactions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to develop expertise in tax planning, transaction analysis, and renewable energy project financing. Key Responsibilities:

• • Support tax planning teams by providing quantitative and analytical support for renewable energy development and financing transactions
• • Assist in the review and analysis of legal agreements and transaction documentation
• • Model and evaluate the tax consequences of various business initiatives and investments
• • Coordinate across multiple tax functions and business units to gather information and support tax analyses
• • Track key project milestones and help ensure timely execution of tax planning processes
• • Document tax planning procedures, diligence findings, and project workflows
• • Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology and automation
• • Assist with responses to tax-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and external parties
• • Participate in financial, legal, and tax analysis related to strategic transactions and business initiatives

Qualifications:

• • CPA preferred
• • 2+ years of indirect/state and local tax planning
• • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
