About The Role
The Replenishment Analyst plays a vital role in maintaining optimal inventory levels across our retail channels. This position involves analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and implementing replenishment strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and reducing costs. It provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in inventory management, data analysis, and supply chain operations within a dynamic retail environment.
The ideal candidate will support the monitoring of sales trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous process improvements. By ensuring timely replenishment and accurate inventory management, the Replenishment Analyst helps sustain our commitment to excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related fields, combined with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Fundamental understanding of supply chain principles, including demand forecasting, inventory control, and replenishment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of retail business practices and operational workflows.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor.
Physical requirements include the ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds periodically, and navigate all facilities comfortably. Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Support the monitoring and analysis of sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to identify patterns and assist in demand forecasting accuracy.
- Assist in developing and executing replenishment strategies to optimize stock levels, prevent stockouts, and maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with merchandising, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product replenishment and appropriate inventory levels.
- Review and adjust inventory parameters such as reorder points, lead times, and safety stock based on demand forecasts and historical data analysis.
- Participate in inventory audits, identify discrepancies, analyze root causes, and support corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors and suppliers, monitor their performance, and resolve issues related to product availability or quality.
- Generate reports and provide insights on key performance metrics, including sales figures, inventory turnover, and forecast accuracy.
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of replenishment processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process innovation.
- Assist in training and sharing knowledge with junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new skills and stay current with industry developments.
- Provide professional and proactive support to internal teams and external partners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
