- Role Description
- This part-time, remote Supply Chain Analyst role involves analyzing and optimizing supply chain operations for maritime activities. Responsibilities include demand planning, monitoring inventory, evaluating supply chain processes, and using data to enhance efficiency. The analyst will also collaborate with various teams to improve forecasting accuracy, recommend cost-effective solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for maritime operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Demand Planning and Inventory Management
- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret data to improve supply chain performance
- Experience in Supply Chain Operations and understanding of logistics, distribution, and procurement
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting findings
- Ability to work remotely and efficiently manage time and tasks
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software used in supply chain analytics
- Prior experience in maritime, shipping, or port operations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
