About The Role
We are seeking a SOX Compliance professional to support the McKesson Technology (MT) Enterprise SOX Technology Services team. In this role, you will work closely with compliance leadership to support strategic initiatives, ongoing operations, and technology-driven transformation efforts across MT. You will partner with SOX, SOC, architecture, automation, and finance leaders to strengthen the control environment and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities. Reporting to the Senior Director of SOX Governance, you will play a key role in enabling compliance strategy, driving insights, and supporting a scalable and forward-looking control framework.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in business and technology. You should have at least three years of hands-on experience in SOX and/or SOC compliance environments, supporting programs that include testing, controls, or governance activities. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams is essential. Strong skills in developing reports, presentations, and strategic deliverables for leadership are required. Additionally, candidates should have a solid background in conducting business analysis and supporting decision-making frameworks, along with the ability to evaluate industry trends, emerging risks, and opportunities impacting the control environment.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing SOX operations and key compliance initiatives across technology and business units to ensure continuous adherence to regulatory standards.
- Partner with SOX, SOC, automation, architecture, and finance teams to support strategic planning and execution of compliance activities.
- Contribute to SOX-impacting projects, ensuring they align with enterprise controls and governance frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop high-quality deliverables, including strategies, detailed plans, and executive-level presentations to communicate compliance status and recommendations.
- Perform complex business analysis and develop analytical frameworks to support strategic decision-making and risk assessments.
- Evaluate industry trends, emerging risks, and opportunities such as automation and AI that could impact the control environment.
- Facilitate alignment, prioritization, and sequencing of compliance initiatives across various teams to optimize resource utilization and effectiveness.
- Communicate insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership through structured storytelling and data-driven presentations.
- Work through ambiguity by structuring problems, developing hypotheses, and presenting actionable solutions to stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet company goals and ensure compliance excellence.
