## About the Role

SimpliSafe is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support and optimize its Order-to-Cash and billing systems. Reporting to the Order-to-Cash Senior Product Manager, this role will take ownership of billing system operations and help improve platforms such as Zuora, AvaTax, and payment-processing systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Tax, Customer Experience, eCommerce, Engineering, and Enterprise Information Systems teams to identify business needs, develop system solutions, strengthen internal controls, and improve billing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business systems professional who combines technical knowledge, analytical thinking, financial systems expertise, and strong cross-functional communication skills.

## Key Responsibilities

• * Serve as the primary system administrator for Order-to-Cash applications, including Zuora, AvaTax, and payment-processing platforms.
• * Configure and enhance system workflows, integrations, user access, and business processes.
• * Design, implement, and test internal controls covering access reviews, reconciliations, exception monitoring, and other billing processes.
• * Partner with Finance, Tax, Customer Experience, and eCommerce stakeholders to identify system requirements and develop effective solutions.
• * Document business requirements, system processes, procedures, and functional specifications.
• * Monitor system performance and process effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• * Support engineering teams by developing acceptance criteria and participating in testing, release reviews, demonstrations, and stakeholder approvals.
• * Develop test and release plans for Order-to-Cash software solutions.
• * Identify operational issues, investigate root causes, and develop prevention and resolution strategies.
• * Establish system administration standards and best practices across the Order-to-Cash technology environment.
• * Coordinate with other business analysts to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• * Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve business processes, system operations, and decision-making.

## Required Qualifications

• * 5+ years of experience in business systems, operations, financial systems, or a related field.
• * 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, optimizing, or supporting Zuora or a comparable Order-to-Cash platform.
• * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• * Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes.
• * Experience supporting eCommerce and recurring-revenue business models.
• * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• * Experience writing functional requirements and developing test and release plans.
• * Experience designing internal controls, monitoring exceptions, and performing root-cause analysis.
• * Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

## Preferred Skills

• * Experience with SQL.
• * Familiarity with Avalara AvaTax.
• * Knowledge of payment-processing platforms such as Paymentech.
• * Experience with Tableau and Jira.
• * Experience working in high-growth or technology-driven organizations.
• * Interest in using AI tools to improve business processes and operational efficiency.

## Compensation

The target annual base salary for this position is **$89,000 – $119,000**, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, work location, and other business factors.

Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, equity, and other benefits as applicable.
