– Informatica & AWS Data Modernization

IntePros is seeking a Data Engineer to join the data engineering organization of a leading high-end fashion retailer in New York City.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys modernizing legacy systems, solving complex data problems, and improving pipeline reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and optimize legacy Informatica ETL workflows
• Build and enhance cloud data pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, Lambda & EventBridge
• Troubleshoot production pipelines and improve reliability, performance, and scalability
• Identify opportunities to simplify complex and inefficient data workflows
• Partner with teams across finance, marketing, operations, e-commerce & analytics
• Help build data foundations supporting analytics and AI/ML initiatives

Required Experience

• 3–5+ years of data engineering / ETL experience
• Strong hands-on Informatica / Informatica PowerCenter experience
• Experience developing and troubleshooting complex production ETL pipelines
• Experience with AWS data engineering
• Strong SQL and problem-solving skills
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy data platforms is highly preferred
• Must be willing to work onsite in NYC
