2. About the Opportunity:

The Sr. Data Engineer role focuses on advancing the organization''s modern data infrastructure and supporting the development of its AI and machine learning platform. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring reliable data pipelines and scalable analytics, enabling the integration of high-quality, scalable, and ethical AI into practical applications. The role collaborates closely with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to define architecture and best practices that enhance the organization’s data capabilities.

3. Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and storage systems with attention to testing and observability.
  • Develop frameworks, tooling, and automation to increase development velocity safely.
  • Create end-to-end AI/ML workflows covering data ingestion, training, experimentation, production, and integration with downstream systems.
  • Support iterative model development and monitor production operations for accuracy, drift, bias, fairness, and reproducibility.
  • Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and peer mentoring.
  • Utilize AI tools daily to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.

4. Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python with experience in modern data engineering frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of data operations best practices, monitoring, pipeline automation, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP or AWS and big data frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and medallion architecture.
  • Collaborative mindset with dependable execution and willingness to learn.
  • Comfort using AI tools and openness to experimenting with new approaches.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data, platform, or machine learning engineering.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, behavioral health, EHR systems, or regulated industries.
  • Preferred expertise with AWS/GCP, dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, Redshift, or BigQuery.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
