Our client, a rapidly growing specialty insurance organization, is seeking a Senior Compensation & Equity Analyst to join its HR organization in a newly created role supporting compensation, equity administration, and broader HR initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically driven compensation professional who enjoys working with complex data, owning processes, and partnering across HR, Finance, Legal, and other business functions.
The role will have significant exposure to the company's equity programs and will ultimately take ownership of the monthly equity grant process from start to finish. While direct equity administration experience is highly valued, the team is open to candidates with a strong compensation and analytical foundation who are eager to expand their expertise in equity.
- What You'll Do
- Manage and support the monthly equity grant process, including grants, subscriptions, vesting, distributions, and repurchases
- Prepare equity-related documentation, communications, and participant materials
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and executives regarding equity-related questions
- Perform detailed reconciliations and data analysis related to equity and compensation programs
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Communications teams
- Support ongoing compensation and HR initiatives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Take increasing ownership of the equity administration function and operate independently as expertise develops
- What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Compensation, Equity Administration, Executive Compensation, or a highly analytical Finance/Accounting environment
- Advanced Excel skills are critical, including experience working with complex data and ideally VBA/macros
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information
- Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with equity compensation, private equity, or equity administration is strongly preferred
- Experience with Carta, Workday, or equity administration platforms is a plus
- Why This Opportunity?
- This is a newly created position within a growing organization where the individual will have the opportunity to build expertise, improve processes, and ultimately own a critical function. You'll work closely with senior leaders across HR, Finance, and Legal while gaining significant exposure to equity and compensation strategy.
