  • About the Opportunity. We're seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our growing Human Resources team and help shape compensation strategy across a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare organization. This is a highly visible role that partners with HR, Finance, Executive Leadership, and operational leaders to deliver market-driven compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent. You'll provide analytical expertise across salary benchmarking, compensation modeling, pay equity, executive reporting, incentive planning, and governance while helping ensure compensation programs remain competitive, equitable, and financially responsible.
  • Candidates with healthcare compensation experience—particularly within health systems, physician groups, or provider organizations—will be especially successful in this role.
  • What You'll Do
  • Compensation Strategy & Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking using healthcare and national compensation surveys.
  • Evaluate internal pay relationships and external market competitiveness to support hiring, promotions, retention, and salary structure decisions.
  • Analyze compensation trends and recommend enhancements to compensation programs, policies, and pay structures.
  • Support annual salary structure reviews and market adjustment initiatives.
  • Compensation Analytics & Financial Model
  • Build compensation models supporting merit increases, market adjustments, incentive programs, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to forecast labor costs and evaluate compensation budgets.
  • Develop scenario modeling and business cases supporting organizational growth and strategic workforce initiatives.
  • Provide compensation guidance for new positions, reorganizations, and organizational design efforts.
  • Pay Equity & Governance
  • Perform pay equity analyses and identify opportunities to improve equitable compensation practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations.
  • Support compensation governance, audits, documentation, and job architecture initiatives.
  • Maintain salary structures and compensation administration processes.
  • .Executive Reporting & Decision Support
  • Develop executive dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate compensation data into actionable business insights
  • Prepare materials supporting annual compensation planning, budgeting, executive leadership, and governance committees.
  • Monitor compensation metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decision making.
  • Healthcare & Provider Compensation
  • Support physician and advanced practice provider compensation analyses and benchmarking.
  • Assist with provider compensation modeling, financial analysis, and productivity-based compensation programs (wRVUs).
  • Interpret healthcare compensation survey data and emerging market trends.
  • Partner with provider leadership and Finance on compensation initiatives.
  • Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted compensation advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Consult on job evaluations, promotions, organizational changes, and compensation recommendations.
  • Educate leaders on compensation philosophy, market trends, and best practices.
  • Support ongoing improvements to compensation systems, reporting, and processes.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive compensation experience.
  • Strong expertise in market pricing, compensation benchmarking, and compensation analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, PivotTables, lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Experience developing executive reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Healthcare, health system, physician group, or provider organization experience.
  • Knowledge of physician compensation methodologies, including wRVUs and provider compensation models.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Experience with HRIS, compensation management systems, and BI/reporting tools.
