- Role Description The Healthcare Data Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for turning healthcare-related data into actionable insights that support decision-making and performance improvement. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources such as EHR systems, claims data, and operational reports. The Healthcare Data Analyst will perform quantitative analyses, generate statistical models, and create dashboards and reports that highlight trends, outcomes, and opportunities for efficiency. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to interpret findings, recommend data-driven solutions, and ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in data management and data analytics, including experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and data visualization tools.
- Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis, with the capability to apply statistical methods and validate analytical outcomes.
- Experience in healthcare data environments (e.g., EHR, claims, clinical and operational data) and familiarity with healthcare terminology and metrics.
- Competence with analytical and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.
