Software Engineer - Data Movement Platform

2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer - Data Movement Platform will develop and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data systems that support the processing and orchestration of large batch and streaming data workloads. This role contributes to improving data infrastructure technologies that enable machine learning and analytics workflows, directly supporting strategic decision-making and revenue-generating activities.

3. Responsibilities:

• • Develop and maintain data infrastructure to support ML and analytics workflows from extensive user data
• • Own and enhance the Data Movement Platform enabling batch and stream data processing
• • Build new infrastructure components for technologies such as Spark, Flink, and Airflow
• • Create automated, self-service solutions to reduce manual effort for data users
• • Collaborate on-call to monitor and improve platform reliability, scalability, latency, and efficiency

4. Requirements:

• • Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience producing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Scala, Go, or Java
• • Experience designing and implementing large-scale systems and proactive project leadership
• • Familiarity with cloud services, Airflow, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Spark, Flink, or cloud-based infrastructure
• • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• • Base salary range: $164,200 to $229,900 USD
• • Eligibility for equity in the form of restricted stock units and possible commissions
