2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition role supports the organization''s AI team by managing data collection essential for training machine learning models. This position involves building and maintaining scalable data ingestion pipelines and collaborating with researchers to optimize data quality and cost efficiency. The role is critical in advancing the organization''s AI capabilities to enhance their next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

3. Responsibilities:

• • Identify and integrate new sources of audio data into the ingestion pipeline
• • Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for data ingestion, primarily on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform
• • Collaborate with scientists to improve data quality, scale, and cost-effectiveness
• • Work with AI team members and leadership to develop the dataset roadmap supporting product development

4. Requirements:

• • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
• • Minimum of 5 years industry experience in software development
• • Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
• • Experience with Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, and at least one major cloud provider (GCP preferred)
• • Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
• • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• United States base salary range: $140,000-$200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience
