Our client is currently seeking a qualified Senior Systems Analyst to join their team onsite in Seattle, WA.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements to support the design and development of technology and/or process solutions
- Facilitates user story creation and backlog grooming in an agile delivery environment
- Proactively identifies and effectively assesses improvement opportunities
- Collaborates with product managers and engineering to define requirements, KPIs, OKRs and user experience
- Creates diagrams, system and end-user documentation to support new system implementation, deployment, and incident management efforts
- Supports project initiation efforts by assisting in the definition of project scope and the identification/selection of targeted solution(s); assists project management in the development of work plans, effort estimates, and delivery timelines
- Participates in solution testing efforts by developing test plans, preparing test environments, coordinating test execution, and validating test results
- Performs application configuration in support of solution delivery initiatives
- Performs testing – from device certification to OS and browser updates
- Self-directed – successful with minimal direction and provides guidance and support to less senior analysts
- Navigates through challenging or ambiguous situations to drive progress
- Effectively interacts with internal business stakeholders/customers, cross-functional technical peers, and external business partners to understand and solve business problems
- Demonstrates thought leadership, including knowledge of industry standards and trends
- Demonstrates system proficiency and leverages subject matter expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting system issues to determine root cause
- Coordinates issue resolution efforts with vendors and/or cross-functional teams. Provides timely and thorough communication regarding issue status/resolution with end-users and other key stakeholders
- Drives operational excellence by creating and maintaining systems documentation (e.g., Wiki, Knowledge Base Articles)
Wage Range
The rate for this position is between $41.25 - $55.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
