• Position Details
• Facility: BayCare Health System, IS Administrative Applications-BCHS
• Location: BayCare System Office East (primarily remote) Candidates must reside AND Work within the state of Florida)
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: Yes
• Remote Status: Hybrid (primarily remote) Candidates must reside AND Work within the state of Florida)

• Position Summary
• Independently formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on customer needs and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems.
• Leads the analysis, design, testing, and documentation of new or existing applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines.
• Provides technical leadership in resolving system logic issues and supports system upgrades and modifications.
• Ensures adherence to change management policies and takes ownership of product and implementation issues.
• Serves as a mentor to junior analysts and models excellence in customer service.
• Responsible for leading projects and supporting multiple applications or institutions while demonstrating full technical knowledge of all phases of systems analysis.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Required Experience
• One of the following is required:
• 8 years of experience in planning, design, testing, implementation, support, and analysis of programs and software
• OR
• 4 years of specific systems experience with demonstrated competency in the department as a Systems Analyst
• OR
• 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related field

Additional requirements:

• Experience with the systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design
• Participation in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation
• Sound knowledge of multiple core technical areas or business processes
• Understanding of interface specifications

Preferred skills:

• Proficient in SQL or SQL experience
• Server support
• Desktop support
• Database support
• Application support
• RightFax or digital faxing solution experience
• Some telecom applications experience

• Education
• Required
• Bachelor's degree in an Information Services-related field
• OR
• High School diploma or equivalent with qualifying experience
