- Conversion Salary: 100K-115K
- Hourly Rate: $57-$68/hr
- Contract to Hire Period: 6 months
- Work schedule: 5 days onsite for the contract period and then 3 days is a possibility
- Senior Manager, Data Engineering & Data Governance
- Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering & Data Governance to lead enterprise data strategy, data engineering, and governance initiatives across a large, complex organization. This person will oversee data warehouse and data lake environments, build scalable integration solutions, drive data governance programs, and lead a team of data professionals.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise data engineering, architecture, and governance initiatives.
- Oversee data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and system integrations.
- Establish data governance policies, standards, data quality, and stewardship programs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support reporting, analytics, compliance, and decision-making.
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and integration developers.
- Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data governance, or related fields.
- Leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, data warehousing, and integration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL tools, and modern cloud data technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Preferred Experience
- Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Oracle, or Microsoft data platforms.
- Data governance frameworks and compliance initiatives.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, SIS, or LMS platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer or DAMA CDMP.
