- About the Company
- Our client is a telecommunications company that designs, builds, and operates broadband network infrastructure to expand reliable internet access into underserved markets. The business is scaling a new AI-enabled customer intelligence and analytics function, shifting away from traditional reporting toward a more strategic, decision-focused analytics capability for its customer organization.
The team sits inside the customer group and is responsible for building the tools, workflows, and AI-assisted practices that will shape how the business understands and acts on customer and operational data going forward.
- The Role
- This is a hands-on analytics engineering role for someone who wants to build products, not just reports. You will move from raw data to insight to root cause to recommendation, and you'll be expected to use modern AI tools as a core part of how you work, not as an afterthought. The right candidate has already shipped a production analytics application on a modern data platform, is comfortable owning a project end to end, and can turn technical findings into a story a senior leader will act on.
- What You Will Do
- Analyze customer, operational, and contact-center data, including call transcripts, voice-of-customer feedback, and journey data, to identify root causes behind business problems.
- Design and build production-ready analytics applications on a modern lakehouse data platform, from requirements gathering through deployment and adoption.
- Build self-service dashboards and analytics products with strong UI/UX, so business teams can get trusted answers without relying on manual reporting.
- Use AI tools daily, chat-based assistants, in-platform AI features, and structured prompting, to speed up analysis, coding, and insight generation.
- Package findings into executive-ready presentations that connect root cause, business impact, and recommended action.
- What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data analytics, with strong hands-on SQL work against large, complex datasets.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping a production analytics application on a modern lakehouse or cloud data platform, not just building dashboards.
- Daily, hands-on use of AI assistants for analysis and content creation, with genuine prompt-engineering skill rather than surface-level familiarity.
- A track record of building executive dashboards and presentations that turn analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Contact-center, customer-experience, or customer-journey analytics experience is a strong plus, as is Python and familiarity with AI agents, RAG, or conversational analytics.
- Why This Role
- This is a build role inside a brand-new analytics function, with real room to shape how the team works rather than just what it reports on. You'll operate in an AI-first environment where using AI well is treated as a core skill, and where success is measured by business impact, not dashboard count.
