Senior Financial Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

• - 3-5 years experience
• - Healthcare finance experience
• - N4, Epic, Strata Experience
• - Any Saas experience with systems like Oracle or Salesforce for example
• - Strong forecasting/ financial modeling experience
• - Advanced excel skills (will be required to do a excel test)
• - Experience working with c-suite and executive level stakeholders
• Home equipment set up (manager prefers someone to have IBM computers such as a Lenovo, feels like Apple computers cannot support the systems they use)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• - Experience in large healthcare system

Job Description

This person will sit on a new, growing system-level finance team and play a key role in telling the financial story to leadership across Novant. This person will the 2nd FA on the team.

• • Heavy exposure to CFO + executive team
• • Responsible for building presentations and financial narratives
• • Supporting:
• Weekly forecasts & projections
• Month-end financial reporting (executive decks)
• Budget planning + coordination across teams
• Annual forecasting + long-term capital planning
• • Modeling:
• Revenue / reimbursement projections
• Supply chain costs
• Benchmarking data
• • Working closely with:
• Reimbursement teams
• Payor strategy teams
• • Helping leadership understand:
• What’s going well
• Where gaps exist
• What needs improvement

This team is essentially responsible for pulling everything together, packaging it cleanly, and identifying areas for improvement across the organization. Big focus right now is forecasting reimbursement impacts from government changes such as the big beautiful bill.
