Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Cornwall, Ontario (5 days a week on site)
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Join a well-established, privately held manufacturing organization operating in a multi-entity environment, where finance plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining strong reporting integrity. This role offers broad exposure across accounting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a hands-on setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate monthly and year-end financial statements, including supporting schedules and working papers
Perform detailed variance and profitability analysis, delivering clear insights to support business decisions
Support the month-end close process through journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and investigation of variances
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles with meaningful analysis and reporting
Ensure compliance with ASPE, with involvement in US GAAP considerations for cross-border reporting and technical matters
Partner with internal teams across operations to enhance financial reporting quality and strengthen processes
Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems, supporting testing, upgrades, and reporting improvements
Drive continuous improvement by documenting processes, enhancing workflows, and supporting special projects
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and/or accounting
Strong knowledge of ASPE in a private-company environment; US GAAP exposure is an asset
CPA designation (or in progress) preferred
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
