Our client is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst – Equity & Compensation to join a growing team supporting equity administration and HR-related financial initiatives. This newly created role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with large amounts of data, building sophisticated Excel solutions, and partnering cross-functionally to manage complex processes.

You do not need to be an equity expert coming into the role. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional analytical and Excel capabilities along with experience in financial analysis, reconciliations, and process ownership. The team can teach the equity component to the right person.

  • What You'll Do
  • Support and ultimately own the monthly equity grant process from end to end
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting related to equity grants, vesting, distributions, repurchases, and participant activity
  • Perform accounting and financial reconciliations related to equity activity
  • Develop and maintain complex Excel-based reporting and analytical tools
  • Analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Prepare documentation and communications related to equity programs
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Communications teams
  • Serve as a resource for equity participants and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with senior leaders and take ownership of key processes with increasing independence
  • What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Treasury, Finance Operations, Accounting, Compensation, or a related analytical function
  • Advanced Excel expertise is required
  • Strong experience with VBA, macros, or other Excel automation strongly preferred
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Experience with financial reconciliations and large datasets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
  • Ability to independently manage processes and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner across Finance, HR, Legal, and other functions
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Exposure to compensation, equity, stock administration, or private equity is highly desirable
  • Experience with Carta, Workday, or equity platforms is a plus
