Senior Epic Ambulatory Systems Analyst

Our client, a major California based healthcare network, is seeking a seasoned Epic Systems Analyst to join their technology team. This is a full time position based primarily in a remote capacity, though candidates must be able to travel up to 25 percent of the time to support on site go live events and collaborative sessions at their Northern California corporate hub.

In this senior level role, you will take a lead position in the planning, design, and deployment of healthcare information systems. You will serve as the primary link between technical teams and clinical end users to ensure that EHR solutions effectively support both patient care and revenue cycle workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and maintenance of clinical documentation solutions

Facilitate sessions for application workflow design and system integration

Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts for end to end workflow validation

Manage system enhancements and troubleshoot complex technical issues

Oversee the creation and delivery of training materials for staff and analysts

Provide high level support during on call rotations and system upgrades

Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and standardized workflows

Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Minimum of five years of technical experience within a healthcare IT environment

Minimum of five years of direct experience working with Epic applications

Current Epic certification or accreditation in a relevant module is required

Specific Requirements and Preferences

EpicCare Ambulatory certification is highly preferred

Specialized certification or experience in Epic Bones or Epic Wisdom is a significant advantage

Direct experience supporting Occupational Medicine or Occupational Health workflows is strongly desired

Familiarity with the Epic Occ Med module is highly preferred

Must be willing to comply with all corporate health and vaccination requirements
