Must-Haves
MUST currently work for an electrical contractor
10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
5+ years of Electrical Project Management for large-scale, complex IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects, including Data Centers installations
Hands-on experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out
Experience with retrofits in operational facilities and cross-discipline critical facility systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Mission Critical Project experience in live, operational environments
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of certifications and experience (journeyman/master electrician's license)
PMP or PMI-SP certification
Experience with Microsoft Suite, Coins, and ConEst
What You'll Do
You'll own complex data center electrical projects from estimate to energization, working directly with clients and senior leadership to deliver multi-million dollar builds on time and on budget.
Strategic Project Leadership: Generate estimates, establish timelines and budgets, supervise execution across design, procurement, and installation phases. Coordinate activities of staff and subcontractors on large-scale deployments.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, clarifying expectations before, during, and after project completion. Report directly to Director and VP.
Site Oversight & Safety: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety policies across all construction phases.
Financial Management: Lead billing and collections, forecast financial direction, course-correct as needed, and manage RFPs and Change Management Forms.
Team Development: Mentor project managers and subordinates to support their professional growth. Assist leadership in planning future labor and material needs.
