Role Description The Senior Data Scientist is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions that support AI integration and legacy system modernization. Day-to-day tasks include exploring and preparing data, building statistical and machine learning models, and developing predictive and prescriptive analytics to inform product and architectural decisions. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams and technical leads to embed data science capabilities into modern platforms, creating dashboards and visualizations, and communicating insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The Senior Data Scientist will also define best practices for data quality, experimentation, and model deployment, contribute to AI strategy, and mentor junior team members across distributed teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Data Science and Statistics, including model development, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis for cleaning, transforming, and interpreting complex datasets to support decision-making.
Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to build clear, actionable dashboards and reports.
Advanced skills in Python or R, and experience with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Hands-on experience with SQL and modern data platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines).
Background in deploying models to production, monitoring performance, and working with APIs or microservices-based architectures.
Ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams and communicate complex analytical concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related discipline.
